## Rules for automated clients

- Identify yourself with a descriptive User-Agent and respect `robots.txt` and the `Content-Signal` preferences declared there.
- Keep request rates low (about 1 request per second). On HTTP 429 or 503 back off exponentially before retrying.
- Do not access cart, checkout, account or login pages.
- Do not submit forms or perform actions on behalf of a user without explicit human approval.
- Content may change when pages or products are updated; do not cache Markdown responses for longer than a day.
